Coping is the protective lip or cap at the top of a retaining wall, on stone steps, or along the edges of an inground pool deck used to bring a refined finish to your Unilock paver project.

Coping is available in various finishes, cuts, and colors to help you create a unified design across your hardscaping.

Beyond being a decorative accent, pool coping, and wall caps also serve a functional purpose. For example, a wall cap with a smooth, rounded full nose edge can turn a half wall into a comfortable seating option around a fire pit, fire table, or intimate patio area.

Adding coping to stone steps provides a broader platform for foot traffic. You can install lights underneath the lip to help walkers find their way at night. Caps can also be used to top off the edge of fire pits keeping the flames contained and a safe distance from those drawn to their warmth.
